General Mental Health Awareness
Supporting Students to Build Strong Mental Health and Emotional Strength
Gram Vikas Trust conducted Mental Health Awareness Sessions reaching 52,590 students across 500 schools in Bharuch district, with the support of 200 teachers and 190 community stakeholders. The programme focused on promoting emotional well-being, reducing stigma around mental health, and equipping adolescents with practical skills to manage stress, build resilience, and seek support when needed, creating safer and more supportive school environments.


Sparsh Sakhi Programme
Building Community Champions for Women’s Health and Hygiene
Gram Vikas Trust implemented the Sparsh Sakhi Programme, reaching 33,212 women and adolescent girls across the Bharuch district, supported by 2,600 trained Sparsh Sakhis and 2,119 community stakeholders. The programme focused on promoting menstrual hygiene, reproductive health, and personal hygiene awareness—empowering women and girls with essential knowledge, breaking social taboos, and enabling communities to adopt safe, hygienic, and dignified health practices.
Health Camps
Enabling Early Health Screening and Care for Women and Girls
Gram Vikas Trust conducted 4 Health Camps reaching 301 women and adolescent girls, providing essential services such as general health check-ups, anaemia screening, and medical referrals. These camps improved access to basic healthcare for underserved communities and helped connect beneficiaries with public health systems for continued treatment and care.
